In “Two Doves”, Rafael Heredia Cuevas turns the meeting of two birds into a scene of communication and closeness.

The figures draw near and seem to recognise each other in a silent dialogue, built through the arrangement of the bodies and the relationship between their volumes. In this work the treatment of the surface takes on particular importance: the artist works the stoneware meticulously, leaving marks, reliefs and textures that enrich the material and gain depth thanks to the patinated finish. Light thus reveals different nuances and accentuates the handcrafted character of a piece in which every detail is part of the expression.

Acquiring “Two Doves” means adding a unique work of intimate dimensions, capable of bringing warmth and meaning to a space. The communication between the two figures evokes encounter, complicity and the bonds we build with others, while the richness of its textures invites close contemplation.
