01The work
In “Bull”, Rafael Heredia Cuevas continues one of the most recognisable lines of his sculptural work: the one devoted to this animal, so deeply linked to Mediterranean and Iberian culture.
The piece is built through clean forms, carefully studied lines and an extreme refinement of volume, reducing the figure to its essential elements without losing strength or identity. The tilt of the body, the position of the head and the sweep of the horns introduce a clear sense of movement, so that a restrained composition conveys tension and energy. The white patinated stoneware reinforces the formal purity of the work and lets light gently define every change of plane.
Acquiring “Bull” means adding a unique work from an especially significant series within Rafael Heredia Cuevas's work. At 22 × 28 cm it integrates easily into private interiors, studies or professional spaces, where it brings an elegant and recognisable sculptural presence. A piece in which the strength of the bull is expressed through simplicity, balance and mastery of line, essential traits of its author's artistic language.
